FAQs

We are an oil mill and oil extraction machinery manufacturer, including complete oil milling plants. Used to process all oil-seed plants at a competitive price.

Q: Oil plants require how large of a workspace?
A: The land area typically depends on the capacity of the plant. We can suggest an appropriate space to prepare after given specifications, or, can design the oil plant in-house specifically to the amount of workspace available.

Q: Can you assist in constructing the storage silo and related systems to meet the needs of the oil plant?
A: Yes. This will be done with consideration given to the region's local harvest seasons and to the duration of storage.

Q: If a storage silo is constructed, is a dryer needed?
A: It depends on the moisture level of the oil seeds. For seeds with a moisture content above 12.5 percent, a drying system is recommended; below this level it may be omitted.

Q: What causes the heated flakes to become too dry?
A: This may be a result of the following situations:

  • Cake at the discharge end cannot be shaped and becomes broken.
  • The electric motor becomes overloaded.
  • The main locations of outflow for the oil begin to shift to the end of the cake discharge, as when the output of oil is reduced and the oil becomes dark-brown color.
  • Note: Correct this situation soon after observation to prevent serious damage.

Q: What are the basic maintenance requirements?
A: The following items should be noted:

  • Fill up all grease cups and oil holes with lubricant at least once daily.
  • The lubricant in the gear box must be filtered and changed during every regular overhaul, once yearly.
  • In the annual overhaul, the machine should be disassembled and thoroughly cleaned.
  • Repair and change those parts in case of damage.

Q: What is the space requirment for a 20 ton per day refinery workshop?
A: For a 20 ton per day sunflower seed oil mill for example, without dewaxing, the building size is 30 × 12 × 8 meters (L×W×H). With dewaxing capabilities a larger size is necessary: 48 × 12 × 8 meters (L×W×H).

Q: What is the delivery time for a 20 ton oil refinery?
A: The delivery time is about 30 days after receipt of the 30 percent down payment.
